Frenchman Offers to Share €500,000 Lottery Win with Thieves

On February 3, 2025, Jean-David Estele’s car was broken into in Toulouse, France, and his credit card was stolen.

The thieves used it to buy cigarettes and a €500,000 ($525,000) winning scratch-off ticket at Tabac des Thermes.

Estele, via his lawyer Pierre Debuisson, offered to split the prize with the two homeless men if they come forward.

The Française des Jeux blocked the prize.
