Mystery Seed Packets Sent to Texas from China

Texas residents have received unsolicited seed packets from China, often labelled as jewellery or toys.

The Texas Department of Agriculture collected 311 packets from 64 locations, including one live plant.

Commissioner Sid Miller warns against planting them due to risks of invasive species or pests.

Similar incidents occurred in 2020 across 30 states.

Residents are urged to report packages to authorities.
